Dasaran – Project Zero: Meeting at Harvard University

The team of Dasaran Educational Program had a meeting with David N. Perkins, senior co-director and a member of the steering committee of the Project Zero of Harvard University (Graduate School of Education - Massachusetts State, USA) and other researchers from the Project Zero team. The Founding President of Dasaran Educational Program Suren Aloyan presented the Program and its development path, recent achievements and the plans of future growth, followed by the discussion on the possible cooperation between Dasaran and the Project Zero. The meeting particularly featured discussions on the prospects of the Project Zero team’s substantial engagement within the “Train 12” Workshops on Modern Educational Models – recently developed by Dasaran and having gained a huge recognition among teachers in Armenia. With possible cooperation with the Project Zero international research initiative established, around 38.000 teachers of the public schools throughout Armenia will get an opportunity to take a professional training program developed by the world’s best experts, and the teachers newly entering the system of education will get vast possibilities of reaching new horizons in teaching. Continually studying the best educational expertise in the world and highly valuing the role of teachers and educators ready to meet modern global challenges and similarly preparing their students for the modern world, Dasaran is committed to develop a program which will substantially contribute to the advancement of the public education system. The visit of Dasaran team was supported by the Youth Foundation of Armenia.
