It was a great pleasure for us hosting at Dasaran Educational Center the Deputy Director of MES Rescue Service, Major-General Nikolay Grigoryan, the Rector of Crisis Management State Academy (CMSA), Rescue Service Major-General Hamlet Matevosyan and the CMSA delegation, as well as Nora Mirzoyan, Research Analyst at the Urban Rural and Social Development Department of the World Bank Armenia.

The working meeting was aimed at the discussion of the piloting steps and the activity-development phases of the new project to be implemented in cooperation with the World Bank Armenia, the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Crisis Management State Academy and Dasaran Educational Program.

The goal of the project is to strengthen disaster risks preparedness among younger generations through innovative experiential learning that promotes minimization of vulnerabilities throughout the society, empowering school-aged children and communities, in general, with knowledge, skills and attitudes on the local environment and on how to reduce risks.
